A pandemic is all about FIGHTING THE BUG, nothing else.
I can just imagine how OUTRAGOUSLY STUPID these arguments would have sounded in the Summer on 1954 when the Salk vaccine was first made available. Me, along with HUNDREDS of other youngsters, went over to Lathrop Jr. High and stood in long lines to get out shots. Thousands of children ultimately went through those lines NO QUESTIONS ASKED
NO ONE, that I recall, yelled and screamed

Hold on Randall
I grew up in a small town in ne Pa.
When I was a sophomore in HS a fellow in freshman class got Polio and everybody I know got the vaccine. It scared the hell out of the whole town.
Another thing they did back then was They had a mobile that went around to all schools and tested kids for tb. I don't think anybody ever had tb but their never was crying like their is today about getting the tests or vaccines.

https://www.theguardian.com/society/...d-in-australia
Quote: Dr Peter Hobbins, a medical historian at the Australian National Maritime Museum, says polio was still killing children into the 1950s.
“It was a reality of life in Australia. A lot of people don’t realize how many diseases were rampant until relatively recently. There’s a reduced visibility of the consequences of these diseases, people don’t appreciate the fear parents felt of sending a child to school and possibly having them not come back into the family,” he says.

For The Last Time
In the history of virology, there has never, EVER, been a viral mutation that resulted in a virus that was MORE lethal.
As viruses mutate, they become more contagious/transmissible and LESS lethal.
The only thing that will be MORE lethal, will be the next round of vaccines and boosters.

RR...this statement flies directly into the face of the Agenda.
In today's World...even if it is true...it is wrong.
This is what things have been reduced to...and it is a shame.

the way the corona got handled from day 1 is a sham. they came up with masks, social distancing and now vaccines when what we needed was a plan to separate the sick from the healthy. poor rotten world leadership that is only getting worse.

Viruses mutate all the time: majority are lethal to the virus. some are milder versions of its former self some are worse like late Summer 1918.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK8439/
quote: Not all mutations that occur persist in the virus population. Mutations that interfere with the essential functions of attachment, penetration, uncoating, replication, assembly, and release do not permit misreplication and are rapidly lost from the population. However, because of the redundancy of the genetic code, many mutations are neutral, resulting either in no change in the viral protein or in replacement of an amino acid by a functionally similar amino acid. Only mutations that do not cripple essential viral functions can persist or become fixed in a virus population.

If this was strictly about fighting the bug:
• Therapeautic Treatments -- Monoclonal Antibodies, Statins, Ivermectin, Zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, etc. -- would be a huge part of the conversation.
• Natural Immunity for those who recovered from previous infection would also be a huge part of the conversation.
• Instead, both topics Therapeautic Treatment and Natural Immunity are considered verboten -- classified as "misinformation" -- and are widely censored/suppressed/ignored by Big Tech, Mainstrean Media, and government agencies -- from local school boards, city councils, mayor's offices, county boards of health, state governors, activist judges, and federal bureaucracies under the control of the current administration such the Pentagon, NIH, CDC, etc.
Open your eyes.
This is most certainly not about fighting the bug and nothing else.

After Jeff's intelligent post, this reply is pathetically ignorant.
You embarrass science.

are you suggesting the only acceptable package is vaccination? The Moderna CEO said that vaccines seem to be dropping their effectiveness after 6 months but research undergoing now. So many will need boosters twice a year forever?
