Deon Sanders appears to have re-started Colorado

Big 20 point underdog to TCU but prevail. QB pases for over 500 yards

And the QB is Deion's son.

Oregon totally destroyed Colorado today. Embarrassed their defense, throttled their offense

Out coached, Oregon was ready to play, Colorado didn't have any answers

Colorado state is one thing, Oregon is yet another animal. Scratching my head > how did Texas Tech take Oregon into overtime.... or is Colorado that stinking bad.

Booger McFarland made a great observation on qb sanders. He doesn't climb in the pocket. Just stays where he is or drifts backwards. Easy target for edge rushers. He makes his OL look worse than they are

Thumbs up

Colorado stinks.

I'm also not really sold on their QB (although he's interesting to follow).

I don't know much about who is game-planning and coaching under the Deion Sanders umbrella of publicity stuff.

Yet, I still check the box score for Colorado/Deion-Sanders.

I at least give them credit for that.

Given Prime's connections and charisma, Colorado's appeal to prospective recruits can only snowball to an unprecedented level as the program ticks upward in the win column and the networks trip all over themselves to televise their games.

Like him or not, the seismic changes he has set in motion will profoundly change college sports. And forever.

I do wonder if he actually CAN coach, or merely delegates while stamping Colorado with the Sanders brand.

What's next? His AIRNESS signs on to coach Loyola hoops???? In all seriousness, Sanders success could WELL spark a celebrity coaching trend.

Has something changed? You used Booger McFarland and great observation in the same sentence. On a Redskin site, as that is what they called them when I got tossed, all his gaffes were canon fodder.

He played the game at the ultimate level. You and I didn't. He can see things on the field you and I may not

My favorite Booger McFarland moment was when he said " incovertable proof" in regards to a call being overturned. I didn't say he is intelligent. But he can spot a flaw on the field at times

I wonder if the team just got an original bump from having a famous ex-player as a coach? That happened when Mike Singletary took over for the SF 49ers, big boast for a couple games then they went back to sucking.

I played linebacker at a D3 school, I can honestly say my football I.Q. is very low. I am a firm believer there are certain things a person does not have the aptitude to grasp, no matter how hard they try. My teammates were baffled
that my high GPA did not translate to the field. Even to this day watching the games the only thing I am good at is predicting what high drafted college QBs
will fail in the NFL. On the flip side I can't spot the ones that will succeed.
