I would sooner vote for a communist than a Latter Day Saint. And if that's my only option...

I will.

Mr. Dave, forgive me if I am wrong, but isn't that just a touch,... um... well, intolerant?

Don't misunderstand me... I don't like him either, but if someone said they wouldn't vote for a Muslim, a Jew, or an Hispanic, wouldn't you be all over them for their bigotry or racism?

Obama or Romney?
Cancer or Heat attack?
Firing squad or hanging?

See a common thread here?
I am embarrassed to be an American every election.

With the exception of Hispanic, Black etc. (one cannot choose their ethnicity or skin color), I would not. One's religious beliefs are as much a part of their public persona as educational background and work experience and questioning said beliefs SHOULD be a part of an informed voter's decision making process.

Why is that? Don't you believe a Mormon can separate Temple and State? Do you believe a Jewish president would be able to separate Temple from State, for that matter?

I've known and worked with lots of Mormons.
The ones I know are all wonderful people.
What is your problem with them?

A genuinely committed Mormon, Jew, Christian or Muslim?

What's the specific danger you have in mind with a Mormon?
