You are asking Midnight Bourbon to do something he has never done before and that is to make up ground AND pass horses from the second call. Your only hope of winning is if he goes wire to wire, and I wouldn't bet the house on that playing out.

I don’t get why there’s all this support for Midnight Bourbon. I don’t care who’s riding...he’s one paced and seems to have no fight in him. He can win if they leave him alone on the lead & let him set pedestrian splits, but that’s not happening.
This guy wants long distance...I think he can be effective in a race like the Belmont or distances beyond that. His style works in marathons.
I like Crowded Trade to win today, but I’m not betting because I’m all crabby about the Derby & don’t think Medina should be in the race
Good luck

Your post was going so well until you got to the last paragraph and then it all fell apart.

When you're crabby, you're crabby..."George is gettin' upset!"

I'm asking him to pull a Shackelford which is a reasonable proposition here. I'll also use Crowded Trade on top. Feels like any horse could hit the gimmicks so I'll keep those plays simple and hope I use the right combos.

What if this becomes a chaos- kind of year? It could happen.
I have a exacta box. For insurance.
I might check back in with a more realistic ticket later.

I see that PA's picks are very similar to mine. Should I be comforted or worried?
