It does make one wonder how these people get elected in the first place.

Almost like...now hold on a minute...almost like...elections are rigged?

So we have had a younger guy run for the position of fire commissioner and win against someone who has had the job for a long time. He in a different time ran and won as Police commissioner. On sunny Sunday afternoons he could be found with his AR-15 Hbar on the 300 yard line. Being popular does not hurt in some locations.

New California laws in 2022:

Pig farmers are now required to allot 24 sq ft for sows.

$15 min wage.

Californians required to recycle all organic food waste.

Stores required to set aside a display area for ‘gender-neutral’ toys and child-care items.

I think those are great laws and frankly am disgusted by anyone who opposes them.

24 sq ft is 4 x 6. About enough room for a sow to turnaround.

$15 minimum wage is way overdue.

Recycling is always good.

We have toys for girls and toys for boys. Why not gender neutral and why designated areas?

Because "in the beginning God made them male and female". Good enough reason for me. That's my WORLDVIEW.

I think you should be careful lumping all of California together. The way it works out here is there is San Francisco & LA then there is everything else.

Here in Kern County where I am this gal probably would've left the store in a body bag, and it wouldn't have been from the police showing up. Smaller cities like mine are actually profiting from the BS in bigger cities, people are moving out of the shitholes in California and into smaller cities with less crime and much more desirable housing costs.

That being said I've got one foot out the door myself.

I'm a Californian and I just think the rational ones are outnumbered at this point. With all the illegal immigrants in this state, they're bound to have kids that grow up to vote for liberal policies.

I am living East of Sacramento towards Tahoe. No stupid people that I know around here. I have met some really stupid people from Texas. I would not lump the whole state as such. I should give that some more thought.

So are they going to make it illegal to sell garbage disposals?
So apartment complexes are going to have composters next to the trash dumpsters?

I can't understand what the other states are worried about with how people are going to vote once they move. Which people do they think are moving? It's not the liberal loving portions of the state, it's the ones that are tired of having basically no representation. The California exodus only enhances the red vote elsewhere.
