You can do whatever you want, and my guess is few, if any, pay any attention to your posts, but I think it's realistic to ask why even one person should believe in what you say when even you don't believe in it. Arguably then, it's bad if even one person listens, which means you do a disservice by posting.

But I do believe in what I do, and if and when I achieve a postive ROI,
I will hire a programer that will furnish a program that interigates the wps and exacta boards, runs the data through my formulas and place optimal bets on a 24/7 basis..
Additionally, I enjoy the experiment of handicapping the handicappers.

After reading all these posts I was curious on my bets. I made 886 bets for $1,886. Return was $1,884.40, so loss $1.60 for the year so far. Have to find a $4.00 show horse so I can be positive for the year.

16,739 US horse races so far this year. Number of bets unknown but at a guess I probably average about 10 per race.

Every horse racing board needs their Prof. Irwin Coreys and Brother Theodores, don't they?

If I could contribute to a group, that's all I would play

Why? Because I post the results of a simple question, what did I win, compared to what I expected to win. Join in

Don't you work for an organization IN the game? Why would you say "much respect" to someone who won't bet because he thinks your game is unwinnable? Makes absolutely no sense.

Oh I think it may be winnable. Until I can prove it, i'll keep working on it.
Respectfully yours

if capable of focusing that OCD-like passion on 'your' strategy grunt-work for 8-12 hours a day ...
can be a pretty good teammate, like "Ollie" in "Wall Street"
"Ollie" was at the top of his class in Cornell University, he met Gordon Gekko while serving an internship w/ Goldman Sachs.
Obviously, not everyone is going to be a fit.
I think Benter and what's his name had an office grunt-work guy who worked basically on cash and nose powder...
Others are too far gone, on their own path, and while they would not fit with a team, they are content to live in their own world

If someone read about exercise for 20 years yet never picked up a weight or entered a gym, or read about fishing for 20 years but never picked up a rod or caught a fish (and in fact told everyone it was impossible to catch a fish), people would say they were crazy. Yet you do the same with horse racing, and when I point that out I'm told I'm arrogant, and you get told by people in the industry "much respect" for saying their game is worthless.
Note that I don't for one second doubt your sincerity or think you're making up any of the information you give. I just think it's a sad waste of time.

When I was in my teens I read a series of science fiction books by John Norman.
Going from memory, one the more memorable quotes from those books went something like this:
"Do not ask how man should live, but instead proceed to do so."
For me, across all ADW accounts:
Just over 13,900 bets ytd for 2021.
Looking at scaling that up a bit for 2022.
