Savaged jockey. Yikes.
I once owned a horse who savaged people, wasn’t a fun horse to be around I will tell you that.

For anyone confused, the jockey getting bitten wasn't today. Picojim's picture is of today's incident. By the way, not sure if you took that picture but it's tremendous.
Personally I like a scrappy horse. You pass him, he bites you.

My good and great friend Mike Mitchell (RIP) once trained a horse named Banker John. He was the Hannibal Lecter of thoroughbreds. Sent several grooms and hot walkers to the emergency room.

Yes, great picture. Thanks Picojim. I posted the picture of the Horse biting the Jockey just because its funny or something else.
Because the horses were running clockwise, its international somewhere.
I saw a horse take a bite out of a guys face wicked!
On the backside of Suffolk Downs. One night we were all getting hammered in the shedrow sitting on buckets. A groom stood up, drunk as Mofo, walked up to a stall to kiss a horse on the mouth.
The horse took a good chunk of his face off. scary.

According to the charts there was another savage attempt by Yeah Rocky in the 5th. I didn't see the replay. Typical Philly sports always resorting to violence when you're not winning!
