was hammered to 3/5 and needed an inside run to hold off the . Maybe not as good as I thought he was but I'll take it:

3 for 4 today. I can beat this turf course. Especially when they settle in and there's better quality racing. Will play GP, FG, and TAM turf over the winter.

Castellano wires on the 5. 2nd @ 12:1  . 3rd, 2 fifth (photo).
Speed held very well. Top three went 1-2-3 around the track

Finally back with some turf racing. My stronger opinions are in the later races but no reason not to get involved early.
GP R2
, Hampstead Heath: WO runner will be very tough. Supposed to beat these.
, Gracious Plenty: Pletcher. Unless this one is lame, should be 1st or 2nd.
, Compass Stone: Longshot play; chance to wire them
