Chasing the chalk @AQU!!!

It seems the chalk players have been having a field day at Aqueduct lately.

Simply put since April 15th it's been a chalk fest prices paying under $8 have dominated the wins on both Turf and Dirt surfaces. So far there have been 48 prices under $8 which is a rate of 68.5%.

All / 5 ( represents Morning Line Odds ending with 5 i.e. 2/5, 3/5, ,,,etc.)

In particular the 2/1 listing in the Morning Line has won at a rate of 56.5% and if all you did was play the 2/1 to win in Turf or Dirt races it would have cost you $46 and you would have won $67.70 which is a 47% return on your money

I didn't think it would last this long and I thought for sure chalk players would have taken a beat down this week but so far I have been proven wrong.

Is the house making it easier for some reason for the remainder of the season?

It's very strange to me but let's see what happens for the rest of the weekend I will be watching 2/1 Morning Line listings very closely!!!

Ordinarily I would agree with you but the Morning Line 2/1's went 3 for 3 again today as #2 Barrister Jim, #3 Hiddenite and #1 Salisbury Knight all won their respective races!!!

The Morning Line 2/1's have now won 16 of their last 26 attempts. At $2 per win wager it would have cost you $52 and you would have won $84.50 which is a 62% return on your money !!!

This will most likely not continue tomorrow as there are 6 horses listed with Morning Line Odds of 2/1 I take it the house now knows about this and have taken steps to put the brakes on it but it was interesting to watch it unfold!!!

There have now been 53 win prices under $8 out of 79 total races which is a rate of 67%. The average win price is just $8.20 since April 15th!!

Let's see how well the chalk players do tomorrow with 10 races on the card at the Big A!!!

you have to give the guy that makes the morning line some credit on this one, he must be doing a great job.

the other tests you make that concern maiden races makes a lot of sense. the problem with it is that once you have discovered the trend the trainer starts to run out of horses unless they are bigger trainers with unlimited horses, those guys win all the time and the horses are mostly underlays.

Since this post I noticed that the Morning Line 2/1 Claimers on the Dirt at Aqueduct have hit the board 11 straight times going back to April 16th.

During the streak there have been 8 wins out of the last 11 attempts with 2 place finishes.

There is a Morning Line 2/1 entered today at Aqueduct in a Claiming race on the Dirt:

8th race
#1 Regulus

Let's see what happens!!

Well #1 Regulus came through yesterday as the Morning Line 2/1 Claimer on the Dirt in the 8th at Aqueduct.

However, it only paid $3 to win and stands as the lowest payout during the streak

Congratulations to those who saw the play and were able to make a small profit!!!

This now makes it 9 wins out of the last 12 attempts with 2 place finishes and 2 wins in a row during the streak!!!

There are 2 more Claimers on the Dirt at Aqueduct for tomorrow:

I am suspicious of #7 Bird Prince since it's a D Jacobson horse he might snap the streak as his horses are always favored!!

Race 1
#7 Bird Prince

Race 7
#15 Combat Diver -- Main Track Only

Let's see what happens!!!

Well D Jacobson's horse, #7 Bird Prince, kept the streak going with the 2/1 Morning Line Claimers on the Dirt at Aqueduct with a win in the 1st race.

I thought D Jacobson was going to snap the streak as his horses are always favored no matter how they run!!!

Also, #15 Combat Diver, ran third which was very disappointing since a $2.20 show price is a bit of a let down especially if you need him to part of your top 2 in exactas and other exotics!!

The Morning Line 2/1 Claimers on the Dirt have now hit the board in 14 straight races with 10 wins during the streak since April 16th!!!

There is a Morning Line 2/1 Claimer on the Dirt today in the 2nd race at Aqueduct:
2nd race
#2 Lotsa Noodles

Hopefully #2 Lotsa Noodles will keep the streak going with a win or a place finish!!

Let's see what happens!!

Well, #2 Lotsa Noodles, not only kept the streak going but also got the win in the 2nd race today as the Morning Line 2/1 Claimer on the Dirt at Aqueduct.

This now makes 11 wins out of the last 15 attempts during the streak for Morning Line 2/1 Claimers on the Dirt!!!

Congratulations to those who saw the play and were able to make a profit!!!

There are 2 more Morning Line 2/1 Claimers for tomorrow at Aqueduct:
Race 2
#3 Skinner Box -- if off the Turf

Race 7
#9 Unstoppable U

#3 Skinner Box
will need to run on the Dirt in the 2nd race to be eligible for the study otherwise, he will not qualify.

Let's see if they can keep the streak alive for tomorrow at Aqueduct!!!

Well, #9 Unstoppable U, kept the streak going yesterday with a win as the Morning Line 2/1 Claimer in the 7th race on the Dirt at Aqueduct!!!

This makes 12 wins out of the last 16 attempts for Morning Line 2/1 Claimers on the Dirt at Aqueduct going back to April 16th!!!

Also 16 in a row have now hit the board with only 2 seconds and 2 thirds!!

Congratulations to those who saw the play and were able to make a profit!!!

This now makes 2 wins in a row for this situation!!

#3 Skinner Box was scratched and so he was not eligible for the study!!!

There is no play for Saturday for Morning Line 2/1 Claimers on the Dirt at Aqueduct!!!

Correction I did not see #1 Petrocelli in the 2nd race entered today at Aqueduct as a Claimer on the Dirt with a 2/1 Morning Line.

Let's see if he can keep the streak alive today!!!

A third place finish would be very disappointing since the claim is that the Morning Line 2/1 should be in your top 2 in this situation.

Well the streak is over at 16 as #1 Petrocelli failed to finish 3rd in a 5 horse race where the longest shot on the board won the 2nd race which was a Claimer on the Dirt at Aqueduct.

I knew it couldn't last forever but I was hoping to get to 20 in a row with at least 2 more wins.

It was an exciting and wonderful ride going back to April 16th up to today November 14th as the month produced 6 winners in this situation!!!

I hope those that followed the streak were able to make some profits as 3 out of the last 5 in this situation were winners!!!

My new phrase is "where one streak closes another streak opens up you just have to find it"!!!

The Morning Line 2/1 Claimers on the Dirt at Aqueduct have hit the board in 17 of their last 18 attempts including 13 wins since April 16th!!!

It's interesting to note that O S Barrera III's horse Petrocelli was the one that broke the streak on Saturday but today his horse Ganador, spanish for winner by the way, runs second to the Morning Line 2/1 Claimer that won the race today!!!

If I didn't know any better I would swear someone gave him another opportunity to redeem himself and he did it with a longshot today!!!

The Morning Line 2/1 Claimers on the Dirt are winning at a rate of 72% so far for the season at Aqueduct I don't know how long this will last but I will continue to watch it for the rest of the season at Aqueduct on the Main Track.

#3 McKenzies Way came through for D Jacobson with a win paying $14.70 across the board!!!

There is no play for tomorrow!!!

Remember, it's only chalky if you hit for the minimum wager amount. If you "send it in" 20, 50, 100 Xs you'll make a killing.

Hey Rise,

I hear what you're saying if you want to win big you have to bet big!!!

There is a Morning Line 2/1 Claimer for today at Aqueduct on the Dirt:

Race 2
#5 Power Crazed

Let's see if this one can start a new streak to close out the season on the Main track at Aqueduct!!!
