I am sure legalization would help lower the human trafficking problem that dims can not see through their rose colored glasses.

Isn't prostitutuion the same as having a wife? You pay for it somehow.

It probably would.

Especially so since there is an sub-culture of modern day "sex workers" who see it as a completely viable profession.

I have a friend who confided in me about having affairs over the last decade or so with college-age women for money. He's about my age, married, and has engineered a lifestyle that allows him to spend a great deal of time away from home.

His quote to me was, "How else would a guy my age get to have sex with a 19-24 year old woman?"

All this done through websites.

Is it legal? According to him it actually is because of the wording on the sites and the careful wording of the transactional conversation.

Before anyone asks, I do not know of any such websites.

Seriously, I was shocked.

Last night the Yes votes outnumbered the No votes 8 to 2.

Today Yes outnumbers No 26-20. I thought 8-2 was too high, but 26-20 seems a little low. 28-18 seems about right -- 60% in favor of legalized prostitution.

Will be interesting to see what the final numbers are.

There are drugs for ED. In fact, those drugs are the main cause for mistresses leaving their sugardaddies.

Legal prostitutes would be far cheaper than a mistress.

True story...

I was talking to a woman at work several years ago. She had a 40-something friend who was the mistress of a wealthy man in his 70s. The mistress complained to my co-worker about ED drugs. She said before her sugardaddy started taking ED medication she only had to put out once every month or so. After he started taking the drugs she had to put out a couple of times per week.

What is the difference between her and a prostitute?
