In the past 23 years ONLY 5 post time favorites have won the Belmont Stakes.
15 of the Last 26 Belmont Stakes Winners Had the Raise A Native Sire Pedigree Line. Essential Quality & Rombauer do NOT have RAN
Long shots rule the Belmont Stakes with 8 of the last 13 winners paying $20 or more

Couldn't figure this race out.
FWIW...
In the FRI/SAT/P-6:
I wound up with Bourbonic/Essential Quality/Hot Rod Charlie to finish.
Of course I have to get through two difficult legs to get there.
I'll call it like this:
1) Bourbonic
2) Hot Rod Charlie
3) Essential Quality

Three of those winners were Baffert's horses. Last year it was run at a mile and an eighth so you really shouldn't count that one. The other one, Afleet Alex, was a total standout.

I like Known Agenda but I think Rombauer is the bet if he’s still at least second choice as it looks now. I listened to the Capital OTB and Nyra handicappers and the reality is they had to talk every horse up with the exception of Rombauer. That derby , some even admit was a merry go round bust. None of these horses made a move to threaten Medina . Hot Rod Charlie appeared to try to make a move but couldn’t sustain. This horse Rombauer ran dead nuts. The question is with these young horses. What if steps it up one more notch? That’s the question, the only worry is someone getting an easy lead . Then it’s tough. But I see him at least getting second if he maintains current form . If he gets a little bit better…………. Look out. Of course, you never know, but that was the race of this generation so far.

I think Rombauer catches Essential Quality with about 1/2 furlong to go.

#7 RYW on the Front or near the front end and coasting home if he can get the distance. Hoping for someone underneath. Never play supers, however, taking a shot with the
Super Key w/ for 24 bucks. Good Luck all.
