Right...
That's right... You leaned so far left your head was buried in the sand for four years. You saw nothing. Nothing changed you'll keep it there in defence of Joe and crew... you'll be, I see nothing.

The Middle-East "Abraham Peace Agreements" and the Vaccine are nothing.

My thought is that Mitch McConnell doesn't want to loose the 'filibuster" procedure, among other things. He just might be willing to cut a deal with Schumer, i.e sacrifice Trump, in order to get what HE wants.

McConnell doesn’t need an incentive. He wants to bury Trump. The future of the Republican Party is at stake.

Impeaching Donald John Trump, President of the UnitedStates, for high crimes and misdemeanors

Taken right for the Article Nan penned... note so rushed they had not time to hit the space bar.
It says " President of the United States " now if they wish to have a Senate trial of the President I have no issue with that.
But Trump can not be convicted in the Senate... they lack Jurisdiction. A phase we heard allot during the attempts to present election fraud cases. That the left just jeered about.
So lets see how they react here. But You maybe right the hate Trump swamp is deep. But I guess the big tell will be does John Roberts agree to preside.
If he does I guess he believes Trump is still the Rightful President of the United States.

Congress with a 10% approval rating wants to impeach someone with a 29% approval rating.
Maybe if they took the time to pass some legislation, and stop wasting taxpayer money their collective ratings would go up.

Probably so, but he doesn't want to lose certain things. He has leverage to make a deal, as dirty as it would be.

Wow you have to reach back to 1876... Guess what Belknap was acquitted by the Senate. Just like Trump will be if it gets that far.
Speaking of precedent... Nixon comes to mind. You know the one inline with the Constitution.

Nixon wasn’t impeached. Then he was pardoned by Ford. Not the same at all.
Acquitted or convicted doesn’t matter. He was tried.

Somewhere Strom Thurmond and Robert Byrd giggle.
Addison likes the power and being able to manipulate people. He'll have to lose re-election before he'll ever quit.
