Here's a clue for you: Insurance companies are in business for one reason: To make as much money as possible off their policyholders. And even LL isn't too big to fail! The British government could wind up bailing them out using that very excuse -- "they're too big [for us] to let them fail.

A day late and a dollar short as usual, but like I said, carry on, I will sit back and enjoy. As far as my posts, yes I am not an authority on EVERYTHING, such as yourself. I tend to just stick with horse racing on this forum, unless someone displays a level moronity that begs a response.

But how much money they can make off their policyholders is limited by the free market system. Perhaps you've heard of it.

So you think that lawsuits relating to the collapse could bankrupt Lloyd's of London, effectively bankrupting the world wide insurance industry?

You should have stuck with Horse Racing on this forum. You fit in well with many of those Clowns over there, too...trying to sound a lot smarter than they actually are.
I don't claim to be an "authority on EVERYTHING". I only comment on things that affect the American Way of Life...mainly to Asshats who have no regard for just that.
Keep stirring shit with me. I want you to.
You are the one who said that, technically, water isn't wet...but I am the one displaying a "level moronity". Some of you dopes are hopeless.

I haven’t followed this thread in detail. Suffice to say that my heart breaks for these families. I can’t imagine the anguish I would feel if it were my parents or grandparents or children buried beneath the rubble.
How lucky the rest of us are.

The feeling is mutual pal, believe me. The best part of this is, that you iunderstood that you were displaying a high level of moronity despite the fact I did not mention you. I commented how intelligent you were and how you seemed to be an authority on everything and everyone. One doesnt need to be smart to see through the likes of you and your ilk. Necktucky sure does seem to produce more than its fair share. Beautiful state though
