Run Happy Promotion
Do they make any money off this horse, based on all the promotion he would have to be bred to 1000 mares to break even?

Why is this horse sponsoring a 10 furlong race? This horse wouldn't run more than 7 furlongs.
Why is this horse in Stall 1? Wouldn't people rather breed to a stallion who can get distance?

he was very fast w/no drugs. Ran 1:20.54 in the Kings Bishop-thats motoring; w/lasix he may have broke 1:20. Promises Fulfilled ran in in 1:21.44 yesterday. He couldn't get two turns and had that trainer controversy during the height of his career.
That being said, why would he be the sponsor of the Travers-he should be the sponsor of the Kings Bishop (Allen Jerkens). I hate when they change the names of races; just add a new race for Allen Jerkens.

I watch TVG fairly often. With all the Run Happy and Super Beta Prostate commercials I find Todd, Christina, Simon, et al refreshing to listen to.

I don't know, it's hard for me to fault a guy trying his best to get his horse a full book of good mares. The alternative can lead down the road to Zenyatta's $1m brother Souper Spectacular, who was just purchased 3/4 dead for $380 at a kill lot in GA.
Nothing is worse than Yum Brands.

Most get 100, that's 2.5 million dollars @ 25k a pop. You have Super Saver his father at 45k a pop, he won the Derby, Run Happy is his only millionaire I would think his red might be headed south! None of it makes sense!

I am tired of hear about RUn Happy! Arrrggggg.
His name is showing up everywhere, and they talk about him all day.
If I hear about him one more time, I will be "running happy" through the woods!

Anyone have a clue how much it costs Runhappy to sponsor the Travers?
If his babies stink next year, this could be the biggest boondoggle of all-time!!!
