Gold has completed its round trip. It broke out from 1800 and is now back there. Speculative money pouring into Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is something I don’t understand. Aside from selling it what can you do with it. One Bitcoin is the price of a car. I don’t get it.

I'm seeing yet more pain for $GOLD, projecting 1730, possibly down to an even 1700.

gold getting slammed again this morning, now at $1786 for spot gold. the number that i am looking for is 1769, but you could easily be right on an overshoot down. once it gets to that number i am going to buy GDXJ (junior miners ETF).

i didn't realize it, but the last original member of the Dow 30 EXXON was replaced in August by Salesforce.. prior to that original was GE in 2018. Exxon lasted almost 100 years.

1769 was just rejected for the time being, lets see if that number holds now.

I'm actually lowering my original estimate to 1670, it that gets breached all the way to 1610 range.

strong November for S+P
this was quite a show after the election and the corona vaccine. when you think about it, company's going forward are going to have less expenses like office space, travel and conventions, and welling their products directly to the user instead of going through a middle man..
at some point though, the market is going to need a breather, and it will need to take a long breath for much more than a week. i don't really have the numbers below to look for yet, but i will try to find them soon..
it looks to me that inflation is going to be on its way... its probably a real good time to insure yourself with gold now. it tested key numbers yesterday and rejected them...

i am going to guess ahead of time, that the time to step in and short the S+P will be the day they pass the relief bill.

TESLA is being added to the S+P. the stock price has no relationship at all now to their earnings and is very elevated.. December 21, 2020 is the date they enter. the stock is now at $600, it might go to $1000 a share by December 21.. if it does, i am going to look for at least a 15% haircut at that time.
