thanks for enjoying the website. i work over at phila park so it does make it easy to interview the girsl and get phone numbers. glad you like the metal core site too. look for a bunch of new jocke pics being posted soon

Being that you are at PHA, I'm surprised you didn't catch up with Helen Vanek at Del. (unless I missed it). She used to ride up here at Fort Erie and now she rides at TAM also. She has a nice touch with Arabian Horses as does her colony mate Alison Hershbell.

we have been in touch with both helen vanek and rachel lavoy, but ifor both of them did not want to do interview. i like both riders and would love to have them on the page, but so far it's a no go. chantal sutherland is on out page and look for interviews with kay talman (just posted) and jennifer schmidt who just started riding at phila last week.

Chris ... great job. It is about time some effort was made to recognize female jockies.
I wonder what the effect of publicising some of the sexual harassment would have? It would be difficult to do without harming the chances of some jockies.
One jockey from Woodbine that you might keep in mind is Julia Brimo. I can bet her horses with confidence.
Question: Chantel Sutherland seems to be riding less often recently, and does not seem to add as much to her mounts. Any one else noticed this? Have an explanation? She is a tough bet, since she is regularily over-bet, as well as not seeming to bring them as well.

about chantal she is no longer a bug rider so it is more tougher for her to pick up mounts as a journeyman rider as aopposed to an apprentice. almost all jocks have this happen to them. about the sexual favors and stuff that some female jockeys have had happen to them all i can say is the stuff was said off the record. sorry

Nice strong stretch drive by Chantal Sutherland in the 11th at Belmont Park on Breeders Cup Preview Day. The winning horse Western Galaxy at $16.60 also had CJ's highest rating off its last main track race.

Jaleina Farrell isn't on your list, she is doing quite well as a 5lb apprentice at Hoosier Park at the moment. As of today, her winning percentage is over 13% and her average mutuel is ***$34*** and rising. I've watched her boot home a couple of bombs and I don't think there is another rider there that could have won on them.
