In my limited experience I think video game addiction and cell phone over use is more damaging. I have never know anyone I would consider a porn addict, or where it affected their life. My girlfriends son and his friends life revolve around video games and they are in their late 20's and early 30's. I would not be surprised if they were all virgins.

Big Fan here of Jordan Peterson
I read his book "12 Rules For Life". I am also scheduled to listen and hear him speak in 2023.
He is extremely intelligent and no one is better in articulating complex ideas to basically anyone. His ideas are definitely something to turn to,like many young men do, if they are trying to "sort themselves out", or help someone do the same..

Is Senator Hawley under the impression that porn is preventing young men from doing "something more with their lives"? I didn't know that watching porn was such a "time-consuming" activity for our young men. I thought they watched porn for only a minute at a time.

pretty sure nobody said it was time consuming
but it does prevent some from going out and meeting real women...but that's part of the agenda...lower birth rates...

The Senator is a moron...and so is Tucker Carlson for agreeing with him. It isn't only the liberals who are aiming to turn us into "mindless consumers". All the governments throughout the world are doing the same thing. When we become distracted mindless robots...the government has nothing to fear from us.
Instead of telling the young men to "get married and become responsible parents"...he should be telling them to get a job, save their money...and strive to gain as much "freedom" in life as they possibly can.

I think porn serves a purpose. It keeps some sexual deviants off the streets.

Man does not need porn for arousal. Good looking woman does the trick. Sometimes not so good looking does the trick. Porn had nothing to do with why I had kids.
