i know a guy that knows the owner/trainer personally but hasn't heard anything about her all winter.
i saw finger lakes was re-opened, made me think of her. anybody heard or seen anything an or about her ?

There's been nothing. On her Facebook page, whoever ran it said in December she was doing great - but nothing since. Then a couple weeks ago, her FB page disappeared. More and more FB fans were inquiring about her, so I don't take it as a great sign that her page disappeared just as FL was readying to open.
Hopefully she's okay, and maybe we'll see some workouts soon..

You have to wonder how long this amazing filly can go on like that . The blind eye I've known horses to manage with , but the club foot concerns me and there is a past article out there mentioning a problem ankle. Which one I don't know.
Snyder tried her on grass thinking it would be easier for her feet so she may
be dealing with real soundness issues or I'm reading to much into that grass
entry and what he said.
After her second consecutive loss , the last one an allowance in FL it was reported he was likely to send her to Syracuse to his Mother in Law's farm , guess that's where she was laid off this winter.
I also would love to hear some good news about her soon.

She returned to FL about a week ago. Has been walking each day. Trainer is having health problems and cant physically do the work he did last year. This filly may be in for a long year. He has two other horses that demand his attention also hopefully we will see her under tack soon.
