I gave you a possible reason for clocker lack of posting and never mentioned Ely. I answered your question, about clocker, with a theory of why. My stated reason had nothing to do with anyone being a conservative or about poor reputations.

But of course, as usual, use the strategy of the straw-man argument so you could attribute, to me, a false argument you can attack.

If you believed my theory to be incorrect, you only needed to say so and not manufacture a false position to attack me.

Also, reasonable people abandon losing positions, a reality which is lost to some posters, who populate this board.

Isn't that what I did? ("You think they left cuz they were losing arguments?")

You specifically referred to ely in responding to my post. So yes, you made it appear I was addressing Ely's departure too.

Of course you did. You bought up Ely and clocker's reputations and their conservative leanings while responding to my post. No where in my post did I ever address political leanings or reputations of either Ely or clocker. Why would you bring up the reputation and political leanings of a person I never mentioned? Why would you bring up the subject of reputation and political leanings regarding a post about someone being factually incorrect in his claims?

But of course, as usual, use the strategy of the straw-man argument so you could attribute, to me, a false argument you can attack.

A definite yes. There was no need to include Ely in your post nor the political leanings or reputation of either of them or that they left because of losing arguments, in relation to my post.

I specifically stated that clocker may have left because his claims have been proven false in reality.

In other words, clocker was making factual claims about the impact of tariffs and the benefits of trade deficits that did not match actual facts.

If you believed my theory to be incorrect, you only needed to say so and not manufacture a false position to attack me.

No, you constructed a false narrative to attack.

Holy moly is right.

Maybe I should have used FanDan's level of communication?

In response to your question, FanDan. Maybe clocker tired of the following regarding his economic claims.

Find some dignity, and post something of relevance.
THIS was his most relevant post!

You think YOU know why they left?

Maybe Clocker got sick of your tired childish act.

He's been posting in the racing section since June.

Uh-huh

It's all right there on the page. Like anyone else here who dares to criticize Trump, he was routinely and harshly attacked.

He got sick of THAT.

Thanks for explaining your reasons for including reputation and political narrative in your response to my post. Straw-man, as to my post, berated because he criticized President Trump, versus his economic predictions and claims did not match economic reality.

If you actually believe the above, why didn't you say so, instead of bringing in reputation and political leanings?

Being Jewish myself (I converted a number of years ago...I could blame it on Boxcar, but that would be a joke in poor taste), I found your comment HIGHLY offensive on a number of levels.

And the answer to all your other questions above is yes.

It's clear Trump has caused you to lose your mind. More gravy.
