I probably won't pick By My Standards, but I don't see Goldencents as a huge drawback.

Distorted Humor wasn't seen as a big route sire before Funny Cide. Elusive Quality was a sprinter/miler. These types of sires can still get 10F winners if paired with the right dam.

Dam's sire, Muqtarib, has an AWD of 5.8.

I keep changing my mind on him (for the bottom of verticals only) but will end up tossing

They were saying on the works show this morning based on Improbable's training they may be looking to put him right toward the front

Why would they be changing his running style? He was doing well as is.

Smart. There's about 10 horses that posted adjusted sub 38 second final 3/8th in final prep. Pretty much the same using the Brisnet LP figure. If you're not forwardly placed then the deck is stacked against, in my opinion. I'm largely going to let the closers beat me for the exacta this year.

A Jealous Woman was a Grade 1 winning turf router in California. Perhaps that is where he gets some stamina. Caused me to take a second look.

Super Saver's damsire , too, but he also had the same sire as Monarchos.

That was the last derby I did really well in. It was almost too obvious.

As for the talking heads, I don't list to 'em at all. They were all over Vino Rosso "because J.V. chose him over Audible". Or pointing out Lone Sailor had fastest workout times since Hard Spun."

That's the kind of advice you get when you don't stick w/your own handicapping.

He also had Mr.P on the bottom as well as Buckpasser X.

I had Dublin. Go figure Borel would get another.

Dublin could have made a whole lot of money for his connections if they kept him at shorter distance and skipped the Derby. He was beautiful in the paddock, always, towering over many other horses. I just remember him as being a real stunner looks and conformation wise when lined up w/others in the paddocks at OP.

The only horse I want out of the LA derby is spinoff. Though I’m intrigued by WoW.
