Tom - thanks for
the honest answer.
Your standard is high and I respect that.
You seem to honor taking on all comers...I knew where Wise Dan was racing about a month ago, is it his fault others didn't come? It was also a million dollar race in another country. This wasn't a Zenyatta type move. What they have in common is that they both kept racing longer than they had to, and I for one am glad they did.
The HOY has earned to right or others to take him on ... he didn't retire or go into hiding.

Not that I have a whole lot of respect for Dan's campaign this year, his Zenyatta tour, but the moron hold the camera even denied his fans from seeing his trounce a filed with a close up so close you could not even see the entire horse, let alone his winning performance.
WO, ya screwed up.

Was there something that was missed that the chiclets didn't show, another example of casual vs experienced player expectations, the casual crowd was there for Wise Dan, only the experienced player would give a damn who nosed out who for the trifecta positions.

Perhaps the claiming crown. Shame the goal this year is for him to keep the winning streak alive.

Hopefully, he makes as many starts as Kelso. But I kinda doubt it.

Actually, the chicklets were missing.
Yes, the crowd THERE - they could see the whole race.
Those of use not there were betting a race and WE got denied to see it.

??
The claiming crown is similar to a million dollar race?
C'mon, you can complain about his schedule or you enjoy watching
a super horse performing at a very high level.

124 speed figure today from TimeformUS, which isn't too shabby seeing he was basically not asked to run very much.

There are "superhorses" and there are "great" horses, Wise Dan is a great horse, and I don't care what anyone else says. Comparing "any" horse these days to a Secretariat, and other "superhorses", IMO, can't be done. Too much has happened to the breed since then.

Not complaining at all. That is what his trainer has said.

Wise Dan, unlike Zenyatta, has no breeding value, so they must continue to race him. I am also surprised that he is not being raced more frequently. He is obviously a very good horse but managed too protectively. I would argue for more dirt races or even longer turf races to test his incredible talent. It would be different if he would be destined for stud duty and they wanted to neatly protect his record as a potential stud.
