This tactic of being a former Democrat or Liberal who has "Seen the light" is a popular part of the Tea Party playbook. Or whatever they are calling themselves now.

I admit there is a slim chance Trumpeteers will survive the devastating history of midterm elections. We will find out soon enough.

Look at the Russian fiasco or the separating parents from their children.
Not very good optics.
538 has it 8.9 for dems, RCP has it 8.2 it widening once again,

Wasn't 538 the site that said Hillary Clinton couldn't lose the election over Donald Trump?
I think so. I must have read it 1000s of time on here calling a Hillary win, couple with ample amount of 538 quotes, charts, polls and utter nonsense.
The trouble is the only one who actually used the word cinch was me, when I posted that Trump would win the election in June 2016, four months earlier.

actually you would be incorrect about 538.
here is the final prediction from 538
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...tion-forecast/
as you can plainly see Hillary was the favorite 7/10 while Trump was about 9/2.
The 9/2 shot came in.

the vast majority of polls were accurate in 2016.

Bloomberg final poll was close had it Clinton +3 whereas the final was Clinton +2.1
Unsure why you wouldn't think a poll by a major polling outfit done right would not be accurate within the margin of error.

Dems are not losing ground, they are losing their progressive war.

If I knew it would annoy you so very much, I'd have posted it daily. Never forget, while others may have said that Trump could possibly win, I was the only one to call Trump a cinch. In June no less.
By the way, did you ever have an opinion on the primaries and campaign? Oh yes, you did say that Trump was not a true Republican and that he couljd not win the nomination.
My opinions proved to be accurate and correct across the board... and against the majority of experts on here.
All you did was hide in the shadows and post stupid emojies. You never made a qualified statement of substance... never took a substitive stand .... just the usual juvenile claims that Trump has orange hair, Trump can't win, Trump can't get anything done -- the usual stuff you continue to post today.

No, tariffs will harm consumers at the cost of helping a few protected industries, like steel makers. They will increase the cost of living to all of us. You and other tariff fans never address those issues, or try to prove them wrong.
