I can't eliminate JUSTIFY...the rest of the field seems incredibly weak, as well. Using EXOTIC BETS! consensus--there are some interesting entries probably fighting it out for 2nd/3rd.
What to do? Conventional wisdom says pass the sumbitch--there are races all day.
I decided to dip my feet in the water--and put a few longshots under JUSTIFY. Two 30-1 shots rate too high to ignore--plus a couple others at good prices.
Check out the consensus totals on RESTORING HOPE 30-1 & NOBLE INDY also 30-1. The Prime Power darling HOFBURG barely rates at all.
I'm not betting the farm, just enough to make it interesting--Good luck all--NCG

Hope you had the 11 in the 13th race. Was second pick consensus and 15-1ML
They bet him down but still got $16.60. Best 5 had 6 winners on top today.

Best 5 also had 4 winners on top on a 7 race card here at LAD. Best 5 is going to give you a handful of winners almost every time at the right tracks. I'm just trying to find a way to narrow it down to the good ones.
Where is NCG when you need him, I have some ideas

That is the hard part. It had 9 of the 13 races at Belmont today. mostly low prices, 16 & 9 were the highest.

Best 5 is going to give you the chalk most of the time. But... whenever the top horse is 3 or 4/1 or better... BET, don't try to handicap or second guess it, just bet the horse, this cost me a few nice priced winners lately, it won't anymore.

Are you betting the top horse or one of the top three with 3/1 or better ?

only the top horse. I start giving the 2nd horse a hard look at around 6/1 and the 3rd at around 10/1.

What's up, Mike? I was gone to my daughter's College Graduation--and post grad-party. Took a little ribbing from people, because now my entire family has a 4yr degree....except me.
I explained... the institute of higher learning I attended was the US ARMY Cook's and Baker's School...where I majored in biscuits & gravy.
Anyone notice the $46 winner both BOSS and NEW B*O*S*S nailed at Belmont? I gotta start checking that play--it may be close to stand-alone profitable--between 6 and 10-1. Longshots with a ML over 10-1 win somewhere near 1 out of 20....so why even bother?
I'm working on some new programs...one a longshot collection near completion--tentatively titled " KABOOM!"
An Exacta program that will do well....and finally a Maiden program (BTW it hit STEELERFAN FOR LIFE yesterday). That was it's only Belmont selection--I haven't looked at anything else from yesterday's results.
Oh...also SPEED DEMONS has been brought back from hiatus with some new, fresh ideas for a complete overhaul.
For right now, KABOOM! is up next: it's got some plays that are unique, clever, and they win. I think most of you will enjoy adding to your arsenal. Soon as I can, I'll start posting plays right off the program.
That's what's happening at Pace-View at the moment...TTL

Platinum plays
Where Platinum helps:
Yesterday playing Louisiana Downs, in the 6th race, I saw #2 Presli's Argument was going off at over 8/1 in a 5 horse field. Took a look at Platinum and see that the #2 has the highest rating in E1, E2, SBLST, E power, ITM, and Ability. Wins and pays $17.80. Platinum will put you on some live longshots if you just pay attention.

Got a chance to look the races over @ Belmont today:
7th RACHEL'S BLUE MOON 8-1 looks bet-worthy..add 7/2 JC's STAR in the 9th
scratched--xxxxxxx9th CATANIA ROSE 30-1 (other than the 1-2 shot----forget the p-3)
