Survey: Should Prositituion Be Legal?
I ran across an article about "drive-in brothels" in Switzerland that are supposed to have been very helpful in regulating prostitution.
Should prostitution be legal nationwide in the U.S. and could drive-thru brothers be a solution?

I would support the idea of drive-thru brothels...if it weren't for the unsafe driving conditions that are bound to ensue.

If you voted no, can you explain why prostitution should be illegal nationwide?
First, each state should decide if it should be legal in their state. However, hypothetically, should it be legal nationwide? It's not like people in Nevada have different sexual needs compared to people in Maine.
If it can be taxed and regulated that seems like a better option than what is currently the state of the industry now.
Plenty of wealthy individuals -- men and women -- hire high priced prostitutes. However, they are called something other than prostitutes when wealthy people pay for sex with them -- escorts, gigolos, dates, mistresses, lover, etc.

It is going to happen anyway, so might as well regulate it and tax it so it becomes positive cash flow for the government, instead of a negative cash flow for law enforcement and incarceration.

My answer is "ABSOLUTELY!"
As my father said over 50 years ago, "Society can be so silly. What makes them think that they can legislate sin out of existence?"
My lifestyle is not such that I would partake in either prostitution or drugs, but would things really be better if we spend resources on putting people behind bars for things that they are going to do anyway?
Ultimately, morality is a personal choice.
Just my opinion.

I'll bet Trump wished it was.

Is it illegal outside of marriage in Nevada or in other places where it is legal?

Our cops have far more important things to do than arrest hookers.
