Wait til November
Keep spinning the wonderful economy all you like.
November 2018 raises one question, and one question only.
How badly will GOP candidates get their asses kicked?
You can take that to the bank, Maynard.

The core problem for the Democrats is that young people eventually want more out of life than "causes" and a utopian society. They start thinking about paying bills, saving for retirement, providing for the family. When that happens, they start voting Republican. Happened to me.

I don't know about ground, but they are losing their minds for sure.
Just follow along with the resident lefties here - total meltdowns.

Guess you've yet to see the new poll numbers millennial democrat voters down 9% .
That sea of blue you keep referring to are tears, tears of clowns and melting snowflakes

The sources for news that you depend on for your enlightenment have kept you sheltered from the corruption charges that will soon be coming out over the next few months. The Obama Administration was doing some very bad and clearly illegal things and the current Dems have been in the "Circle the Wagons" mode in a last ditch effort to keep those corruption truths from coming to the light of day.
While the GOP Establishment has not been very helpful in support of cleaning up the swamp (because some of them are a part of the Global Cabal who also want to get rid of Trump), Dems are going to take a beating in the mid-term elections.
With differing opinions, we will just have to wait until the mid-terms have past to see who is correct in their assessment.
BTW while very important, the economy is only ONE piece of the equation.

If the democrats of today were like the mainstream democrats of 40-50 years ago, they would win practically every election coast to coast with more than 60% of the vote.
The problem is the democrats of today are dominated by marxists, leftists, Hollywood perverts, God haters, country haters, and let's not leave out the people that think there are 84 genders.
The people that wanted a strong national defense but were very weary of using it, that fought for the worker and middle class, that believed in God and loved their country are all gone. They have been replaced by people that hate everything about our history, country, and economic system.

That is what most of the republicans are today, so the radicals have succeeded in shifting the country more to the left.

I will be surprised if the dems gain any ground at all. I expect them to actually end up with a net loss

As stated earlier in this thread, I believe there is a very good chance that Trump could win over more black people than any Republican president in history -- and I attribute this mostly to the great economy. A recent Reuters poll confirms my gut feelings. Support for Trump among black males doubles since Kanye West's open support for Trump. Perhaps Kanye is getting the brothers to come out of their closet.

Kanye said slavery was a choice. Don't think that does much for him
