I’ll Say This for POTUS…
I’ll say this for POTUS, he’s masterful at turning a phrase, and more importantly, having you remember it. If I were running an ad agency, DJT would be one of my first hires. Let’s look back: “Crooked Hillary”; “Lyin’ Ted”; “Low-Energy Bush”; “Lightweight Marco Rubio”; “Crazy Bernie”; etc. There’s also: “Sad”: “Very Sad” and then there’s “Bad”. If this were a boxing-match, we’d call these phrases: quick-hitting jabs. Body shots.
But what about current players? We’ll play word-association game. I’ll lead off. I’ll say a name and try to come up with an accompanying word(s). O.K., let’s start with Putin. “Rootn, Screwtn, Putin”. Maria Butina. “Maria, My Heart is Breaking!” (Tough shite). Kim Jong-un. “Kim Jong(g) Mah” Curtsy Your Wall! (POTUS has called him “The Rocket Man”). I thought that was Roger Clemens. Well, you get the picture.
