Without any doubt the "feature" race on the card. Not bad for a Thursday I guess.
A bunch of restrictions in here, that need to be paid attention to. I'm sure I'll need to double-check all that business.
Ann Arbor Eddie: Proved he could win on turf last out. And at the distance, and at the track. Anybody want to dive much deeper than his 1 for 7 turf record after winning his last? O'Neill/Super Mario. Will likely be overbet.
Full of Luck: Chilean horse has 8 wins. All in Chile. 4 trips on an American track and he might not be able to beat an Arabian. They shot for the moon, and came up empty, and now drop from G1 company to here while changing surface and cutting back in distance. Please don't bet granny's money on this one.
Law Abidin Citizen: Honest horse. Not sure Mile 1/16th is the move for him. Mabye it is? Gotta figure this is a "next out" kind of entry, or the sprints have set him up to wire this field. Interesting entry in a possibly paceless race.
El Huerfano: Connections haven't backed down from much. He has banked some decent money, but his turf record is uninspiring, and the distance has to be a serious question.
Camino Del Paraiso: In English that means Way of Paradise. Not a bad entry, and certainly beatable. 1 for 13 the past 2 years against supposedly similar or better company.
Cistron: A hard-knocking 4YO that shows up just about every time. He'll be in the mix amid this group, and anything 6/1 or better with Baze on board has to be strongly considered.
Liam the Charmer: Hasn't raced in over a year, and has received the ultimate equipment change in the meantime. Would likely lay over this field with any semblance of his past. Double D rides, and McCarthy is always dangerous. 5/1 ML is going to drop.
Giant Payday: Not the worst horse in the field. And certainly not the best. Has some back class races that are competitive, but aren't winning races. Exotics bound looks to be the limit.
