Brian Stelter is a balding midget douche canoe whose vag is expanding by the day. The journalistic integrity of that asshat ranks about as high as a trashcan at a strip club.

Reporter Reviewed WH Memo That Allegedly Implicates Trump In Obstruc
https://talkingpointsmemo.com/muckra...on-obstruction
Reporter Murray Waas said that he reviewed a White House memo that “explicitly states that when Trump pressured Comey he had just been told by two of his top aides — his then chief of staff Reince Priebus and his White House counsel Don McGahn — that Flynn was under criminal investigation.”
According to Waas, “people familiar with the matter” have told him that both Priebus and McGahn also testified to Special Counsel Robert Mueller that they personally provided this information to Trump during a Jan. 26, 2017 meeting.

If that's all you got - good luck. He could have fire Comey anytime he wants. I'm about 100 percent sure Trump was aware firing Comey was not going to stop any investigation. He fired Comey because he refused to acknowledge publicly that Trump was not the subject of a investigation - on the advise of Rosenstein, who then opened the Mueller investigation. I'm thinking it was all set up.

Or is Mr. Arnold the liberal version of "Q"
I guess it's only a matter of time until we find out.

And that is Obstruction of Justice. Was one of those things why Nixon's fellow Republicans convinced him to resign, before he was impeached.
I think Trump and hi inept legal eagles are now prepared to lose the midterms, be impeached, in hope that the Senate does not convict him after impeachment.
Astounding dumbness listening to Rudy Giuliani.

The entire report, which outlines a damning timeline of events regarding Trump’s interactions with Comey.....
https://www.nybooks.com/daily/2018/0...en-he-knew-it/
Previously undisclosed evidence in the possession of Special Counsel Robert Mueller—including highly confidential White House records and testimony by some of President Trump’s own top aides—provides some of the strongest evidence to date implicating the president of the United States in an obstruction of justice. Several people who have reviewed a portion of this evidence say that, based on what they know, they believe it is now all but inevitable that the special counsel will complete a confidential report presenting evidence that President Trump violated the law. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who oversees the special counsel’s work, would then decide on turning over that report to Congress for the House of Representatives to consider whether to instigate impeachment proceedings.
The central incident in the case that the president obstructed justice was provided by former FBI Director James B. Comey, who testified that Trump pressed Comey, in a private Oval Office meeting on February 14, 2017, to shut down an FBI criminal investigation of Trump’s former national security adviser, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. “I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go,” Comey has testified the president told him.
|
Back to this shit again? Comey was working for Trump. He has a right to give direction on the case. He could have ordered Comey to drop the case completely. The Chief Executive cannot obstruct Justice in this manner. Words do not make a conspiracy, nor do they make up obstruction. It takes an overt act to occur. Just discussing a case doesn’t make for obstruction. Especially if you are the Chief executive overseeing the investigating agency.
If your version of obstruction was valid, thousands of Police Chiefs, prosecutors etc would be guilty every day.

Obstructing a lawful FBI investigation is Trump's problem. It is no evident he knew Flyn was under investigation. And tried to get Comey to back off.
Nixon also Obstructed.
"On July 27, 29, and 30, 1974, the Committee approved three articles of impeachment against Nixon, for obstruction of justice, abuse of power, and contempt of Congress, and reported those articles to the House of Representatives."

If we have to nitpick every single rule with President Trump, then we should use the same logic with illegal immigrants and not give ANY of them a free pass.
Rules are rules right?

Not quite or at all logical. Asylum seekers do not run the country, deal with foreign leaders, carry the nuclear football or threathen to shut down the government.
Investigating a president is not nitpicking. No matter what you've been told.
