Income taxes aren’t the only taxes people pay. Social Security taxes and Medicare taxes are both capped. That means the average person pays a greater percentage of their income for those taxes than do wealthier Americans, and the greater the wealth, the greater the discrepancy.

Many wealthy people have their wealth in the stock market and other investments. Those can increase appreciably, but they aren’t taxed until they are sold. Even then the rate is much lower than the rate on regular income.

Comparing taxes based merely on income and income taxes is deceiving at best, dishonest at worst.

Because they're issued a degree for basically achieving nothing. The leadership of most of these universities are as crooked as those that put them in charge. The percentage of students that actually benefit from this thievery are relatively small. You just have to be that special person that needs help because as you say...they're stupid. How many truly believe this woman or Maxine Waters for example, are college grads with honorable degrees? Gimme a break!!
