Get excited.

At least we got a horse to watch from the Lecomte Stakes.

WAR OF WILL has 'potential'. We've had some good horses go from turf beginnings, to 3yo success on the dirt.

I'm not 'all-in', but WoW ran a good race, he looks the part, he could be moving forward...

Gotta watch this one . . .

I agree, he sure looks like a good mover.

When he makes the turn for home it looks like he kinda "bounds"; hits the ground and bounces up . . . this horse is just running for fun. Gaffalione pops him one good one on the left side inside the eighth pole but its not until deep, deep stretch that he begins show his true stride - he starts to stretch out and glide; we only get a glimpse of it.

This one here bothers me. He has somethin' for us.

I've attached a couple of video links, the Lecomte and the LosAl, the Lecomte video is a bit fuzzy but take a look at how the strides differ . . . notice the difference in the right front shoulders.

The entire card ran relatively slow and there were a number of routes and stakes horses to get decent pars. Whatever Beyer comes up with should be a fairly accurate number. Probably a little better than I initially suggested but doubt it's a big one.

Would like to see the pace figures but on the surface that was a very legit win and looks like a major player if he moves forward. A Beyer of 94 is solid and despite not having to beat much he did it like a good horse should.
