I might as well be TTTooooooooooo

a FOURTH thread...on THE same topic...so I'll repeat...

well this also one requires a statement of FACT...which no one can deny...

Ya'll do realize that we WOULD HAVE global warming one way or another...sooner or later...

and there's NOT a DAMN THING we can do about it...

But sure IT makes for a good way to POLITICIZE agendas.....

yeah a repeat post from Iceland/Greenland thread..and NOW other GW threads....but some are DENSE around here...perhaps a THIRD time reading they JUST MIGHT comprehend...

guess it don't matter how many times for SOME people...

still deserves the same comments...as NOTHING NEW or relevant to the contraire has ACTUALLY been posted...

The data have been adjusted to minimize the effects of changes in instrumentation throughout the record.

I am sure when you gents get together to deny the Apollo moon landings (NASA) involving 411,000 people, it might come in handy. You can deny any statistical function that makes you happy.

That's why you gents are in denial.

I thought the Moon Landing denial was based on your side of the spectrum, seeing as how back then the government was The Man, and The Man couldn't be trusted for anything. It's certainly not a conservative meme.

I watched the Apollo landings and studied engineering while marching on Washington. Liberals were not anywhere as ant-science as the republicans and conservatives are now

But Moon Landing denialism isn't anti-science. It's lack of trust in the government to tell the truth.

Since then, generally speaking, it's been libs who have been against spending money on space exploration (when there are so many problems here on earth to be exploited, er...solved). And since it's mainly libs who are into homeopathy, the power of crystals and magic herbs, and all manner of New Age junk, I'm not really buying your selling of cons as anti-science. Maybe anti-social science, but that's not really science anyway.

That's a hell of a trick. Those battery packs, portable TVs and books weighed a ton in the days before an iPad.

C'mon Hcap, the issue of a warming planet is behind us. However, on a planet that has been much warmer and much cooler relative to today's balance, the issue of the magnitude of man's impact on the warming is, err, not settled. So let's see if we can prove or dispove AGW.....

Let us not forget that right wing conspiracy expert Alex Jones pegged it all along.

Our Hemisphere’s Temperature Just Reached a Terrifying Milestone

http://www.slate.com/blogs/future_te...re_record.html

Update, March 3, 2016: Since this post was originally published, the heat wave has continued. As of Thursday morning, it appears that average temperatures across the Northern Hemisphere have breached the 2 degrees Celsius above “normal” mark for the first time in recorded history, and likely the first time since human civilization began thousands of years ago.

....It's now arrived—though very briefly—much more quickly than anticipated. This is a milestone moment for our species. Climate change deserves our greatest possible attention.
