I'm sure he's a great guy.
I think FL is in a good position Monday,Tuesday for off-track money. The key It's a WIN only betting track. I think they should consider dumping the P3,P4,P5 force more money into the WPS pools. nothing wrong with traditional English Betting.

Also,it'seems pretty chalky.I'm not looking for bombs but it would be nice to get the occasional overlay that pays in the 30-40 dollar range.Or even 20-30.

eb...where's your head been lately? Noticed some strange posts from you in the past couple weeks. This may be the looniest.
Finger Lakes?? Home of the $5 longshot? The only thing you're gonna force more money into--is the casino, or other track's handles.
Have a cup of coffee and think on this awhile, ebby.

lol. the $5 payout on a pick 5. get rid of it!!!!!!
Win bets there are a good deal, I think. Like 3-4 trainer/ owners win 40% of the races. But Can't do your show bets payout $2.20.

Thanks Bello, It was my first time in 8 years doing a handicapping show. I was a little too chatty. I was able to give out El Mono Verde in race 7 at a nice 8/1. Hope some people cashed on him.

Tony, what happened to the Pan Man on the handicapping show? I haven't been able to watch regularly in the past couple weeks and missed an explanation as to why he's not there.. thanks!

You did fine Tony.....except I didn't listen to you for race 7. We had the right idea beating the phony favorite with closers though. Note in my selections in the selection section for FL and you will see the only race I missed in the p5 was race 7.....Where is that bang head against the wall icon. I took a look when you mentioned him but didn't want to expand my ticket which really wasn't that expensive.

Tony is awesome. I got to meet him once at Turf Paradise and he was really cool. My favorite memories of him were Friday nights working in the Emerald Downs press box and watching the last few races from Bay Meadows. There's nothing better than hitting a super and having Tony say "COMPLETES THE SUPERFECTA!"

Ditto. I was extremely, extremely disappointed when he left... even if I had to hear "it's time for pie Troy Bainum!" one-thousand more times. I became a huge fan of his work when I was able to really hear him describe what I was watching closely all day long, day after day, week after week. He called a race, as in the entire composition, maybe one notch below our previous best - and that's a big compliment. And like that guy, he seemed like one of us. I think if was Blaine Wright, someone that was only there briefly, would have TKLO around and for a while I thought he might have been one of his grooms. Finger Lakes is very fortunate.

That's funny about Troy Bainum. I got tired of saying it myself, but that's all Troy wanted me to say. It started with a promotion we had at Bay Meadows, after the 7th race you could get a cup of coffee and a piece of pie for a buck. In 2006 I owned part of 3 horses at TUP, and I mucked for Mark Rheinford to offset the costs.

Dan, Panner got a great job at the VA hospital in Canandaigua. He is so pumped up. I'm really happy for him.
