They should've been but they self destructed. Arguably the biggest band in the world from 1987-1992 but drugs and in fighting did them in.

I loved all the Seattle sound bands, Alice in Chains was my favorite. Tool is another amazing band. Often said they were the Led Zeppelin of our generation and I think their cover of Zep's No Quarter is one of the few covers better than the original.
The Killers are my favorite band that's still going right now.

I mentioned 'Ryche in post 34, one of my favorite bands up until the album Empire. Then they went through a crapfest of music/albums. They band is now separate from Geoff Tate, and hired a new singer names Todd La Torre who sounds like early Geoff Tate. I really enjoy what I have heard off their newest release.
