This last race is a very good betting race. Just look at the Trainer line up. Worst trainer is 15%.

these races are a good example of the 'field size' debate

Personally prefer these larger fields.

The biggest tradeoff is a higher difficulty. Unless you have a really strong opinion, more than a DD starts to be an expensive dice-roll. There are a few legit 'A's in almost every race, and several that appear to be 'A's in each race.

early 5 paid $148k...

the KIMARI is a heavy chalk in the last race. I don't really have 'knocks'.
Good filly, top connections and jock. Unless she's better than I can see, I do feel she is an underlay.

is fine as well.

is a nice horse, and seems to be overlooked on the Tote. had run in reserve last time at Saratoga (IIRC was 2nd to the in that race).

is a big price as well. I don't know that the is 'good' like I do the , but the was against the grain last time, and ran a pretty big 3rd.

thanks for the support

A-B-A-A-A = pays $5k (not much wiggle room considering how much I spread)

early 'ACDC' p5 was $148k ...

ex pays ~$200
the Miss J McKay was a very 'keyable' overlay

nice card, today

card tomorrow at Kentucky Downs as well... Probably take a break, but may play around with multis for practice

still alive A/B leg one

won race 1 , and was a public a or 'B' at 5-1.

9 close for 2nd. Rye was a non-threatening 3rd and went off a close second choice to the ...

In leg #2, I really like the (but so does the public)
has a race over the course and may be best. Footwork was fine, disregard the footnotes. Still has to run around the track, but the added distance should help protect this horse and allow for aggressive tactics.

1st claim Maker. Also last race over track. Was the only one really closing, and that makes him dangerous here.

= A's
= B's

Good luck, Jay

Leg #2 gets a 'B' home
Pick-5 is dead (went all 'A's)

alive to for $2.50
and for $2 (which I'm rooting for a 1,6,7 upset) (thus, probably not my best bet-sizing)
/////////////
race2

#2 ran well, a bit of a safe/passive ride, but it's not like he looked best.

$274.50 for the 50c, but still lost, overall.

Somewhat of a 'consolation', considering I had two 'b's in 3 races, but room for improvement.
If I'm going to lose on the investment, it's doubly silly to spread so much and go so heavy.
