King of Saratoga seeks his Meghan Markle.

It is Saratoga Time. Get your Game Face on boys & girls.

The Rail was friendly last year…
At 6F, 6.5F and 7F on dirt, the 1 post won more than any other post. However, at 5.5 Furlongs the 1 Post was 0 for 18. The numbers are too big to ignore. The 1 post at the distances mentioned won 18%-20% of all sprints on the main track! The 5.5 Furlong anomaly is also worth a cup of coffee.

Florida Horses.
I spent a fair amount of time at Gulfstream this winter and I’m paying attention to Horse’s coming out of Florida because there were many good ones. Bear in mind, Gulfstream Turf is Durt. Races run late in the day or late in the season are ˝ dirt and ˝ grass. Saratoga Turf is up to your shins.
I bet Tampa quite a bit this winter not because I’m an action junkie but because Tampa had some quality racing this winter. Watch for Tampa shippers, they might be real.

My Trainer Bets.

Violette with 2 YO’s against Pletcher for prices.

Linda Rice. She said of a few of her best horses were in mid-cycle and were running at Belmont with all the expectations on Saratoga. Discount some of her horses’ flat efforts at Belmont. Especially dirt to turf.

Jockey bets
Luis Reyes. 2017 meet he had a +$4.06 ROI from 70 mounts in the deepest jockey colony in the land Reyes gets more out of less at prices.

The Science Behind Saratoga

.
I’m excited about Saratoga this year having watched so many 2 and 3-year old’s run all winter and spring.

I’m usually pretty good at Saratoga. [*] Some say I’m the best, but I will leave that to me to decide.

Have you see the movie Sixth Sense? Where the kid says, “I see dead people?” I empathize with that young boy because when at Saratoga;
“I see Horses in the Winners Circle”. Its scary. A gift I guess.

Here are some picks you can use tomorrow.

If you’re just betting your kids birthdays, favorite names or your old inmate number, then certainly use my picks. I hit each of these with a dart.

How good are these selections? If you asked me if you should take a home equity loan to bet these? I would say no, get the money from me @ 3 points a week.

In no particular order because that’s the way genius’s do it.

  • 4th race.
Tampa Shipper Alert!
Will Ortiz hurt the price? NO! Opening day funny money keeps him at 4-1 or better.
Big Agenda #7 , Bet with both hands.
  • 10th Race
Tampa Shipper Alert.
#5 Lusitano. Bigger class drop than appears. World class jockey opts for a 2nd bite. Albertrani better than is 2017 Saratoga numbers. Pendulum swings his way.
  • 5th race
Horse buzz and chatter says its 1A if he gets in. I would only say this about the 10, Teletype. I am betting him with my mortgage payment. #3 wild type has raced at $1.30 and both of those facts scare me.
  • 3rd race.
# 2 Strong Side ML 2-1. That morning line gave me a good belly laugh at the same time, his maiden races made me sick to my stomach.
I’m borrowing money to bet the # 1. Formal Start.
Even ignoring the 1 post data I posted above, the gate work on July 14th tells me that Jerkens is in-it-to-win-it.
  • 1st race
#5 Believe in Luck. He has one great race left in him and its this one. He’s going to drop a 97 Beyer on these. Servis-rice-ortiz & worked 5 panels for this.

I’ve got a 7am flight that gets in at 10:30. I might be walking in the door as the gate opens.

I hope everyone enjoys the meet as much as I expect to.
Cheers.
Da King.

That's a real good read. Laughed my arse off. My old inmate number has put me in the red (go figure) so I may just use your picks, mostly because I'm an action junkie. Keep 'em coming day by day if ya don't mind.

Life should be enjoyed!

Lol. Glad u enjoyed it! I will post more as the meet goes on.
Did you just see the Florida Shipper take the opener tiday?
I just walked in and caught it.

I could not do much handicapping last night because as you may have seen
I put teletype in that 20k superfecta ,? And had multiple ex and tr. 2 of my other posted selections 12-1 and 8-1 played big roles in my big day! nyra did not want to pay me in cash unless i took security to my car. So by the time
Security came, then they wanted to put my money in boxes.
But i wanted the cash in sealed money bags. So by the time
I got that sorted out and got dinner, no time to cap and post!

Last night i had dream that there was a horse in my bedroom!
I opened my eyes and there was EXTERMINATOR! Old school runner from century ago. Undefeated at 2.5miles. Lol. He said my name 3 times slowly , Fusss, Fusss Fusss, I AM YOUR FATHER. All good, im at the finish line at Saratoga now. Heavan on earth.

2.5 miles, the great gallop out to heaven, the thoroughbred Valhalla where all racehorses go if they die in the battelfields of racing, or in a workout mishap, and not of laminitis. Yeah, of course I've heard of it.

Teletype nipped for 2nd by a sliver. Ouch. If he ran 2nd they would of
needed a F’n Armored Car to take me home.
