The lack of a central comity!

Racing will go down the toiler and rightfully so. With todays race DELTA DOWNS RACE 4.. DQ of number 7. If you haven't seen it watch the replay. There is an example. That dq exploits the drastic inconsistency that is shown by the "gods"/Old White men/Stewards continuously demonstrate. Years back at WOODBINE patrick husands almost killed a jockey by cutting the rider off very harshly. After 10 minutes it was ruled it would stand. New York same thing. Tampa. You can completely cut someone off in certain cases and its not even called up for objection.. i.e Mountaineer park who goes official 2 seconds after the wire. Why do horse players accept this crap, while a small percentage of guys(stewards, trainers) are benefiting from this behavior.. Young handicappers are going to come in and see that blatant inconsistency mixed with conspiracy of fixing results and say the heck with this. There take out is already higher than any game in universe and they also are being unfair with claims of fouls.

Enough is Enough. 1 central comity. With standards that are quite universal when it comes to inquiries. Make it transparent and create trust in the game for new owners and players. What we have now is the backward way of handling it. And there are stewards as those at Delta today that have a vested interest in keeping it the way it is!! Complain. even if you benefited of that dq. next time you wont. its not right.

Second issue is the odds collapsing into the race. You bet a horse at 5-1 and they are running and become 8/5. This cannot be sustainable when you couple that with a 27% take out on the win bet as it is.

Based on the tenor of the posts so far, there is a certain irony in this request for a central "comity".

I have won and lost DQ's have seen things I thought were absurd

The bottom line is I'm making a judgement call and so are the stewards.

We are all humans and sometimes our judgements are flawed.

What a sad group of dudes. Keep losing your money. Take the crap and not push the game to evolve like every other sport. The Stewards love guys like you who are commenting on this post.

Yes "that is just how it is mentality." Keep it as "status quo". Obviously wrong group of people to bring this up with. Good luck smart alexs.
