Both conditions must be met to sign and receive a Tax Form W2G:
At lease 300 to 1
Must pay more than $600

Also if payout is more than $5000 they will take out 25%

great idea for Belmont, but will probably be short circuited at

Doubt it. They get some pretty decent fields in the Maiden Claiming $25,000 state-bred class. Ninth race is usually good for at least 10 horses.

Caveat. Not available to NY players on NY ADW network until software has been updated. Anyone know if that has happened? Available on-track at self-service terminals only.

Is the dime super fair to the $ 1 players?

You probably know considerably more about the super than I do, as I don't play it very often.
Are you really sure though that this won't impact the dollar super tri players and bring their scores down?

I mention this because at Mountaineer or a similar track several months ago,
the price went on the board that the Super tri paid $ 165,000 or so.
But what really happened was there was only about $ 40,000 in the entire super tri pool. Hence, the super was actually caught by two dime bettors making $ 16,500 or there abouts each. So great. These two dime players got a big score quick. At the same time though all of the $ 1 dollar bettors were skunked.
Is the dime super fair to the dollar bettor?

No, but you'll have to adjust. Therefore, you should completely discontinue making $1 wagers in the super whenever you have bombs on the ticket. $1 players would be better off playing the trifectas.

Okay. The $ 1 players wise up in time and quit the super tri pool.
Seems to me the dime boys wouldn't get so much.

This statement is somewhat deceptive. If one bets a nickel hits for 5 dimes then yes 25% is withheld despite not meeting 300-1 criteria. However, if one bets 10 dimes on an even money shot and wins then NO withholding tax is imposed.

Absolutely not. See how many supers you can get for your $ 2 bucks though.
Not being a super player, I still see dime players as piggy backing.
