Newsome backtracks on nuke energy.
https://hotair.com/john-s-2/2022/08/...l-2035-n489369
Just like other states/countries they realize “renewable” energy won’t cut it. So they backtrack as their deadlines approach.
The “coming age of renewable energy” It’s all bullshit
Fossil fuels forever!

How are they going to keep up as they phase out natural gas on new construction, small gasoline engines, and push more electric cars? Green energy sounds nice, but other than hydro electric, it is either prohibitively expensive to generate, takes up way too much space per output, expensive to maintain, or all of the above.
Everyone pimping green energy as the energy of future that will eliminate fossil fuels like coal and most natural gas, is either uneducated or flat out lies, pick one.
One thing strange in here is not one single Democrat has came in here and countered any of the green energy negativity. I think they realize they don't
have a leg to stand on. No one is against green energy, they are against greenies selling a bunch of lies. If Newsome is reelected he will destroy California further.

Also please spend the $5k needed for a solar power offset so you don't impact the grid.

Drought conditions make this source unreliable.
Hoover Dam production is down over 30%.
As you said, fossil fuels are really the only dependable source as of now.

I didn't know Hoover Dam was down 30%. With my assumptions and shade tree degrees I have on various subjects, I would think they would just compensate for lower water pressure by opening the gates more. Could be the water is so low even with the gates open all the way they are only getting 70% power? So is this the case of the intakes being too small or not low enough? Unfortunately no one who engineered that project is still alive so they can't be held accountable. I actually took a tour of that place in the first decade of the 21st century.
Maybe I should go back and ask a bunch of questions on the tour and drive the guide nuts. I took a bus tour of a windmill farm once, I was lucky the tour guide didn't try to leave me out in the middle of the desert. Some of them seem to like an educated customer, those that aren't well versed don't.
I need to get to work, but I definitely will look to see the real cause of the reduction, thanks for the info. As in why they can't compensate for lower water levels, not CLIMATE CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nissan Leaf $20,875
Hyundai Kona $27,685
Ford F-150 Lightning $34,169
KIA EV6 $34,615
Far below 80k
$20 a month for gas? Are you living in 1950? I’m an eighty year old retired guy and I spend over $120 a month for gas. People who drive to work everyday, have to be spending over $200 a month.

And for those electric cars how much will it cost to replace the batteries after 3-5 years? For the Nissan Leaf the estimate is $6,500 to $7,500. The other ones are probably similar in cost.
There is no cost savings in buying an electric vehicle, unless you want to try to sell it when the battery dies.

Internal Nissan docs say it’s been canceled, again.
The Kona is so small only size petite can drive it.
F-150 Lightning is failing real world tests for towing and mileage estimates.
The EV-6 is uglier than that mole on Mosties Arse

God said,"Let there be light."
And then there was light.
God said,"Let there be energy."
And then there was oil,and gas.
