I'll add his Finger Lakes speed figure was probably not as good as it could have been due to a pretty slow pace.

That's the miscommunication.
I assumed you were questioning my integrity. That I was presenting facts that were untrue. Hence I felt you were questioning my integrity. So I questioned yours. Yadda, Yadda, Yadda. Its over.
So I apologize for questioning your integrity. I should not have done that. I'm sorry.

Even better if that type of stuff had its own section. (Easier to find.)
Thanks!

The brilliance of the NY riding colony was on full display in the Test.
I can't ever remember a grade 1 race where the 3 favorites all go all out to eliminate each other.

Joel Rosario's ride on this Chad Brown runner in race 1 reminded me of Guy Smith's in Louisiana. Different but repulsive in it's own way.
Disgusting.
He purposely didn't ask his mount till AFTER he got passed. That horse should've been set down, at the LATEST, at the 3/16.
I don't care if I cash, it looked terrible and again disgusts the ethical core of my being.
"Unagressive" is putting it nicely.
"Thought he was riding Frosted" is putting it nicely.
Well timed/nicely planned excuse, stiff job, is what i call it.

You beat me to it. He was not interested in winning there at all. Just along for the ride

I LOVE TLG.
He just said: Joel Rosario must've thought he was riding Frosted. To say the least his mount suffered from a lack of aggression.
Thank god we have him to at least point out a piss poor ride in a politicaly correct fashion.
Doesn't change a thing but at least someone acknowledges how bad some of these rides are.

2-5 was pretty ridiculous on that horse, but apparently he bought into it and rode like he was on Secretariat. I'm sure the stewards will investigate.

A friend of mine keeps telling me that there are no stewards. He says that when the jocks get on that phone to talk to the stewards, they are really calling the jockeys room and one of their boys is on the other line discussing what to eat later on.
I laugh and I tell him to stop. After hearing him say that to me for 1 year now, a part of me is really believing that is true. Anywhere there is money to be made, has corruption.

CJ, you do know that the sun is stronger on the far turn at Saratoga. It has been known to cause heat stroke for 6 seconds to jocks from the 5/16 to the 1/4 pole.
Sometimes it takes them another 10 seconds to realize what's come upon them and then shake it off. (and get back to riding)
That's obviously what happened to Joel.

Race 4. I passed the race as I can't handicap the "script".
Even JV is in on the WWE style action.
Watch the head on in HD. His horse is a 10000000000000000000000000% Need the leader (in current form, not 1-2 years ago). Don't get the lead, you're done.
Watch his hands. The first stride says it all. He had ZERO intention of trying.
It's getting harder and harder to bet any race at NYRA.
WWE looks more real.
