Fernando and I are close to the same age, he is a couple months older. I think it is funny when I look at people that I thought were fat back in the day
and now think "I wish I look like that." My issue was I always ate a lot, but worked it off, requiring little sleep, I exercised 3 hours 6 days a week, and had time for everything else. Finally at 38 I needed a spinal fusion from an earlier weight lifting accident. No more power lifting, no more boxing work outs, no more jogging. At one time I had the strength of 3 adult men, but I also ate as much as 3 adult men. The chiseled out of granite 220# went to a 250-260# marshmallow man. At least I haven't got heavier, I once could easily lift 315# overhead, now carrying more than 25# hurts and today I can't get help for the pain like in days gone by.
Just a personal experience, nothing against what you said. I used to think how can that pudgy SOB throw that fast? I was chiseled out of
granite could bench 470# and the fastest I ever could throw a baseball was 70 MPH.
Enchiladas, with sour cream, guacamole and hot salsa? That sounds great!
