What are you guys most interested in with Race Lens?
Looking at the program tonight, the True Odds look interesting to me.

I'd like to see a few races where a price horse won...

Do you feel you need to use Access to find good spot plays in HTR?

I do get a full picture ,since HTR allows you to use only Ranks 1 & 2....

And there factors that are NOT in Robot but in the exports

Also Regression Analysis is important to me that I do in Excel

Yes, I do use Robot and Access and Excel in my research....

I export stuff every day

Anytime Left.....

I watched over Bill yesterday and wasn't that impressed with Stats ....

There was a high point in their Win % Selections but there has to be more than that

BetMix , IMO, has more functionality and a more thorough way of digging deep into researching

It was a quick look and Bill had it only a month , so there could be things I didn't see...

But there are videos that will show more

Mike,

I have used both BetMix and Race Lens. There are things I like about both applications. However, and from what I am recently seeing and from some of the results I've been getting and the success rate I am enjoying, my preference would be Race Lens hands down.
The accuracy, simplicity and flexibility of the Race Lens numbers cannot be matched. In my opinion, It is an excellent handicapping device.
It offers one the ability to become a more creative handicapper.
It allows one to think outside the box and offers the ability to confirm or dismiss ones conclusions.

I would be happy to consult and compare notes with other Race Lens users.

Well, I know Bill will disagree with me but I'd prefer BetMix

IMO I believe Stats Lens is a glorified PP......

It has of course PP's and a few angles on it like Bris Prime PDF @ Twinspires for free

You can click a line a watch the race replay in the program ..no big deal

But this is all in well if you like handicapping from the PP's , most don't

As for the "Angles"

If you can understand this statement then you know where its coming from

With Angles YOU have to be the driving force start one....

Your the one that creates the angle then you have to test it

It can be good or bad or use less...then you start all over again...

Not like some software where you can pick a few criteria's and then hit begin

and get a cumulative report on what you can go forward with....

The disappointing part of Stats is the $129/Month price

With BetMix at $50 , there's much more value

You can watch this video ....at the 36 minute mark you can see how angles are done...

Should be noted that Race Lens, though it does have the $129/month "sticker" price, also has the $299 quarterly ($100/month) and $999 yearly ($83+/month), which are further augmented by frequent advertised discounts to those "standard" packages which I've seen as large as 40% (which brings a yearly down to $50/month). These discounts are almost always available to both new and existing subscribers. That makes it nice because if your subscription is running, but a promo comes up that will expire before your sub runs out, you can take advantage of it, and your sub will be extended the appropriate amount of time.

The most recent promo I used was a Triple Crown promo, where they were offering $99 for a 3 month subscription ($33/month). The promo was valid for signing up until Belmont Stakes day, so I resubscribed Belmont week, and the subscription will carry me through all of Saratoga and Del Mar.

Bet Mix may have similar promos making theirs better than the $50/month, $500/year also.

You're welcome! I know I've found it useful. RaceLens has contributed to my profitable periods over the past couple of years as I returned to the game after a long hiatus.

I don't know that anyone needs to contradict your opinion though - we all are most comfortable with different approaches/methodologies to handicapping. Sounds like BetMix and/or HTR are good for you. RaceLens is up my alley. I will be looking at the angles video you mentioned - always want to stay open to different approaches!
