1. Bob, does this attendence information now help you pick more winners?

2. I see today, R1 is 5.5 Furlongs on the main track. R7 is 9.5 Furlongs, also on the main. So apparently they can run long and short on the same day.

Track trend I noticed is that Jose Ortiz has been ice cold. This has got to be a record streak for him. Hopefully the upcoming week he gets his mojo back.

Tom,

They can't run any sprints on the inner track. So all sprints are run on the Mellon.

Routes can be run on either track.

However, if they are aiming to spread the work over the two tracks there will be less routes on the mellon track because it is conducting all the sprints.

There is nothing stopping them running routes and sprints on the same day, it is just balancing out the load between the two tracks that makes it fewer routes on the mellon.

They had a nice crowd on Sunday also, at least until the heat started wearing some people out. The line was only 3 deep for a $23 corn beef sandwich in the grandstand. Am I supposed to include that in my ROI because eating and drinking tipped me negative for the day?

You should probably drink heavily in the morning and sneak a sandwich in with you.

I paid $18 for a whole CB roast not long ago!

I eat and drink before I go to the track. When I feel hungry, I leave. I'm not paying $23 for a sandwich. If it is hot, I make sure I have water in the car.
