Yeah but that's through the structure of international bodies and agreements that are the antithesis of the neocon movement.
You got me thinking though and honestly I don't think neocons really exist anymore. Unilateral interventionism has had a pretty bad run the past couple of decades.
Plus, let's not kid ourselves you're totally okay with confronting China.

They just do it differently.
The PRC couldn't take Taiwan either... logistics are hard enough without three Carrier Battle Groups confronting you.
They use soft power... in a decade or two their economies will be so intertwined you can't separate them anyway.
