Actually interviewed with youbet back in the days. Think there were in woodland hills at the time. They were a disaster.

Another stupid move by track management. I hope it bites them in the butt.

I always felt youbet was like Netscape taking on Microsoft. They were innovative, but in the end having the backing of industry bigwigs is necessary to succeed. TVG and xpressbet and Twin Spires had that.

Mirahmadi is at Aqu right now but will start at SA next meet. He's okay but nowhere near the level of Wrona. Maybe Wrona will end up in NY.
Meanwhile that is Trevor Denman finishing up at Delmar...

Twinspires acquired YouBet in 2009.

That’s correct and TwinSpires also bought America TAB. Big fish eat little fish.

Read BH headline that Rivoto gave an interview about stuff. Did he provide any intel on why this transpired?

He did. Discussed it for about 2 mins towards the end of the interview. Nothing much different than the quotes he gave right after the change.

There was a huge dust up when Michael was made Announcer and it didn't sit well with some powerful people. This is just politics gone wrong IMO
and Frank is gonna be fine as well.

Generally if someone is the type of person that would bounce a check at the racetrack, I would like them more. Thats like an “up vote” to me.

Thanks for that. I like Wrona.
What a wild video. Some real cool rail shots, the buildings around the outside of the facility are all stucco looking. No wood or steel or anything like you'd find in this part of the world. No tote board, just a big timer and clock and lots of Longines adverts. Trophy presentation was cool, getting their pictures taken one by one, and then the group photo.
I think it was the second guy to receive a trophy. Nice suit. Damn.

Takes some balls to apply for a job in Qatar.
