Chicago Sun Times presidential primary endorsements
The Chicago Sun Times has endorsed John Kasich and Hillary Clinton in the Illinois Primaries. Both good choices, Kasich is a Republican, but he is not wacko. Clinton is the most qualified candidate since Lyndon Johnson.

agree, but Hillary doesn't generate much excitement.

For Republicans, according to the polls a vote for Kasich is a wasted vote. If you want to stop Trump (leading in IL), Rubio & Cruz seem to be running in a distant 2nd place. If your hoping for a brokered convention, Rubio or Cruz today seem to be the options.
Viewed another way, if Trump crushes Clinton in the number of votes in blue state Illinois, it could weaken Clinton's momentum.
Tough call.

LBJ drank a bottle of J&B and a bottle of Pepto-Bismol every day. As a result he often held cabinet meeting in the washroom. He gave us The Great Society. That's worked out real well. He escalated the war in Viet Nam which resulted in 58,220 U.S. military casualties. As a result of the Kent State Four and the Democratic convention in Chicago, he dropped out and the Dem's ran Hubert Humphrey.
I agree she & LBJ are somewhat equal.

The Sun Times also endorsed Rahm Emanuel for mayor. Twice. That will give you an idea of how discriminating that paper is.

I stand corrected. There was so much going on in that time period, It's easy to remember it as just one period of chaos.
