Hollywood Hypocrisy?

Congressional panel hears complaints about helicopter noise
So it seems that the Hollywood elites are pissed off that helicopters are hovering over their mansions to give tourists a glimpse of how they live. They claim that they are "disturbing the peace". Yet these same pieces of shit support the Occupy Wall Street low lifes who are regularly disturbing the peace for Lower Manhattanites. Now if we could only get those helicopters to dump some human waste on their property it would be an even playing field.

The Hollywood stars did not get paid millions of dollars of taxpayers money like the wall street losers. The people on wall street would be jail if they worked in any other place in the country. I do feel little sorry for some of the small restaurants that cater to those crooks, but not too much. They are catering to the crooks so they should expect a little spill over of the outrage. It goes with the territory(Pun intended).

So your accusation so that ALL Wall Street people are crooks, ALL took bail out money, and ANYONE who opens a business in that area should suffer? and if they did not take bail out money, there is no wealth disparity?

And the women that are sexually violated and men that are physically harmed should expect it because it goes with the territory, eh?

Talk about blaming the victims. The people who commit rape should be prosucuted to the fullest extent of the law. The women who raped should not denied their right to protest the wall street fat cats. Nor should the men who physically harmed.
NYC had plenty of people sleeping on the street before the movement began and the police did nothing about, but if when they do it where the fat cats have to see it, they get arrested.

Come with the territory, didn't YOU say that?

So the innocent food people don't get the same pass, huh?
Did the homeless block traffic, prevent people from going about their business, try to take over the trading floors?

Who is stopping the innocent food people from joining in the protest? There is no shortage of spots on TV of food people using there right to complain about the movement. It seems their voice is being heard.

I may need NJ Stinks to translate for me...

How is not "feeling too bad" for the innocent people that are being denied their right to make a living because in your world they are somehow enabling or accomplices of Wall Street fat cats < > not an example of blaming the victims?

Duh. WORKING food people - in buildings - that is who YOU said comes with the territory. I certainly think the little piggies raping and pooping in the streets represent a viable customer base.

Here' the thing, Bobby - PEOPLE are having their livelihoods destroyed by this scum army. PEOPLE who work, pay taxes, hire people, cut paychecks - ALL are hurting because of this swarm of human scum. That comes with the territory? Man, you have one warped view of things. You support the dirt bags and ignore the real victims here.

Tom's latest attempt to trash the OWS has forced him to say that there is a group of people out there that he doesn't want to execute at dawn - namely some obscure group of shop owners in NYC.

I can certainly understand your confusion in thinking that there is no way Tom actually gives a shit about anybody at all in NYC, John. Its counter to just about everything he muttered about the place.

One more time for those who fail to see the obvious.

We have 3 groups of people:

Group A = the OWS protesters
Group B = the evil fat cat bankers
Group C = everyone else

Group A is pissed at Group B but everything they do hurts Group C.

Get it now?

Hang on a second please. Can you all articulateexactly what wall street did to precipitate this asset bubble bust?

One: It was Democrats, led by Sen. Christopher Dodd and Congressman BarneyFrank, who for years — including the present year — denied that fannie andfreddie (who are GOVERNMENT AGENCIES) were taking big risks that could lead toa financial crisis. It was Sen. Dodd, Congressman Frank who for years refusedrequests from the Bush administration to set up an agency to regulate FannieMae and Freddie Mac.

It was Dodd and Frank, who for years pushed for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac togo even further in promoting subprime mortgage loans. Alan Greenspan warnedthem years ago. So did the chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers to thepresident. So did Bush’s secretary of the Treasury.
Yet, today, what are we hearing? That it was wall street “capitalist right-wingideology” of “de-regulation” that set the stage for the financial crisis. Dofacts matter?

We also hear that it is the free market that is to blame. But the facts are that it was the GOVERNMENT that pressured financialinstitutions in general to lend to subprime borrowers, with such things as theCommunity Reinvestment Act and, later, threats of legal action by then AttorneyGeneral Janet Reno if the feds did not like the statistics on who was gettingloans and who wasn’t.

Is that the free market? Or do facts not matter?

Then there is the question of being against the “greed” of CEOs and for “thepeople.” Franklin Raines made $90 million while he was head of Fannie Mae andmismanaging that institution into crisis…Fannie and Freddie get bailed out for200 billion plus…with pending 140 million bonus’s and OWS couldn’t care less. Evenafter he was deposed as head of Fannie Mae, Franklin Raines was consulted bythe Obama campaign for his advice on housing!

Tell me again what wall street traders did besides take a monster bath on theseStructured Mortage Bonds that never would have been underwritten if not foruncle sam.
