1st race
There is only 2 decent horses in the race.
1st race came up weak.
Data Mine is super obvious. Probably an underlay. If he wasn't so damned sluggish, he'd be a 'lock'.
is the only other decent race horse in the field. He'll probably be hovering between 3rd and 4th public choice. Not as good as it sounds, as 2nd choice through 4th or 5th should be pretty close in actual money. Shipping around between Oaklawn and NY if we are to believe the workout tab.
maybe i'll force the 6 into a light gimmick with the 1, ... or i may look to beat the Bruce Brown in r3 by linking them to a pick 3.
mostly PASS.

Couldn't have been more wrong about the .
He looked like a MSW horse vs a bunch of mdn claimers, and controlled the pace. No one made a move to close out the race, and the sluggish 1 was in no man's land.
The 6 made a little middle move, but juice can only do so much.
on to race 3

3rd race is interesting, but doesn't jump off the screen to me.
and both look like underlays, but either could win by default, if no one else runs.
is a deservedly luke-warm alternative. Has every right to be in the mix.
is an ultra obvious FTS
and are the money FTS
taking the more money of the two, but the caught some late money in the DD pool to make it a little closer. Really tough to play the money game with these types
main bet is a trifecta using 6 and 5 as double keys:
56/56/1237 and 56/1237/56
i'll hege another pick 3 that I have going with
27/1356/1356 = even using them on top on this one ticket, I don't want both in my tri

That was odd I thought the 7 was a sure winner the entire way at Belmont and he just stopped like he got shot.
I also thought the 8 was going to hit some sort of ticket, even 4th, not sure why the guy was so close to the pace w the 8 he's a 1 move closer, might have been top 4 if ridden like he's usually ridden.

how is that exacta only $55 for a buck?
8 horse field
3rd choice of group of 3 closely bet favorites wins
7th choice finishes 2nd
I am stupid to have included that horse whatsoever and he got a dream trip with controlling the pace on the turf today, and a couple horses flattening out after starting a threatening middle move behind him.
Thought it would be around $80

just as a curiosity, the 10 has some of the most interesting 'pace form'. I don't like him at all, and he's also become a wise guy, but it's interesting to see and mull over.
throwing a gimmicky wager together with the
he was out-moved last time, but kept his head in there and finished with solid fundamentals.

43, two contenders, pays almost as much as the 6 over that goofy in race 2.
I didn't even think to bet this exacta, although it was an overlay.
made my goal for today, and I don't see any more races @ belmont that jump out.
Not seeing particularly well today, in general. Good luck rest of the day.
