He is looking to 2028 if anything, if he had positioned himself for the VP spot he would not have run for President and would have made the first cut for VP consideration. Michael Richard Pence was selected in part because he could support Trumps platform and have enough of a record that was positive for the ticket. I could be very wrong but feel he brings nothing to the 2024 ticket.

Pres. Trump made DeSantis but the ungreatful, disloyal Florida governor in no Trump, lite or not.
Haley gets very little DeSantis voters, if any, except for those virulent MAGA haters.
Haley's support comes from globalists, America Last Wall Street money and left wing media moguls such as Rupert Murdoch. Real conservatives hate her and knows she's a warmonger and a slut.
BTW, Haley gets thumped tomorrow in NH and will get destroyed in South Carolina provided she doesn't quit soon after Tuesday to avoid any embarrassment.

First off, DeSantis tossed aside common sense when he took advise from Paul Ryan, Jeb! Bush, Karl Rove, Kevin McCarthy, Ken Cuccinelli and Mitch McConnell -- the Establishment loser wing of the Republican Party -- to run against Trump.
Then he took very dirty money from the Wall Street and globalist America Last crowd who are MAGA haters.
He also proved to be not so bright and he compounded this ample stupidity by running a horrible, hateful campaign. Iowa was the first clarion call; NH and SC was going to be even worse for him, and a huge Florida thumping of him by Trump would have ended his governorship as well.
Ron DeSantis' future political career is primarily over and done with.

Love the Trump people with loyalty claims from one of the least loyal guys walking the planet. Ask the January 6th people about Trumps loyalty. Ask Rudy and Jenna Ellis about his loyalty.
Trump was handed the nomination when the left started with the indictments. The polls moved way to Trumps favor once they started.
We now have the show over the substance.
He does have something in common now with Desantis. They both have zero path to victory. Trump can spend the next four years watching someone down south who actually combats the left instead of just talking about it.Dems in florida had a 200k advantage in voter registration when he became governor. The republicans now have the edge by 300k. People respond to good leadership.
Enjoy four more years of Biden and the death of this country.
