I understand why Republicans are upset about this. Someone is finally going to call them out on their lies. Propaganda is not just the provenance of government. It’s also used by groups that are out of power to gain power.
Republicans lied about election fraud. They lied about Covid-19. They lied about vaccines. They lied about pedophiles. They lied about immigration. They lied about taxes. And they are lying about the Disinformation Governance Board.
They are using it as propaganda to seize power. And if they do, they will set up their own Disinformation Governance Board. But it will be very different; much more restrictive of free speech; much less advisory.

Just substitute "Democrats" for"Republicans" in your toxic tirade above, and it makes sense.
Back to Biden's Disinformation Governance Board — the strongest argument against its existence is that no government has the authority to sit in judgment on the First Amendment rights of its own citizens. It belongs in the courts.
The Democrats are getting more brazen with every passing day. November will not come soon enough. They need a major ass whipping.
