Don't forget, Obama has 8 more states than Romney, who is limited to just 50.

You didn't even realize I was giving Johnson the first 269.

Obama 294

Ties 24

Romney 220

If you give Romney all of the ties and then throw in Ohio, he only has 262. Romney not only has to win Ohio but probably something like Virginia as well (plus all of the tied states).

A tall order.

Obama 281 Romney 257 (I actually think Obama will get over 300, but I'm just being conservative.)

At last, the day is here.

Both candidates will spend the evening watching the returns with their loved ones, Romney at FOX, and Obama at MSNCB.

I am not so sure about that. The problem is that Mitt, like a lot posters on this board, is out touch with the majority of Americans. Obama could have been beaten in this election but not by someone who exposes the ideas that the republicans are running on in this election and not by a former one term governor who lose that state by 30 points. Obama gets 300 electoral votes +/- 10.

if he is so out of touch with a "majority" of americans, how do you possibly explain almost every national poll having them almost dead even at 50-50???

Romney's not out of touch, he would have done as good a job as anyone. judging by his first debate, Romney sounded like he had a better grip to what is going on than the president.
